Accessibility statement

We designed SportsMgnt to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA and test it with automated and manual checks. It has not had an independent accessibility audit.

What we built in

  • A "Skip to main content" link first on every page, landmarks and one main heading per page.
  • A visible focus ring on every control; the demo banner sits at the top of the page and never covers focused content.
  • Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels on public pages and at least 24 by 24 pixels everywhere.
  • Text contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 in light and dark themes, plus adjustments when your system asks for more contrast.
  • Animations turned off when your system asks for reduced motion.
  • Layouts that reflow at 320 pixels wide and at 400% zoom without sideways scrolling of the page.
  • Error summaries that link to each field, labels on every input, and no drag-only controls.
  • Charts with a table of the same numbers; colour is never the only signal.
  • Every screen in English and Spanish, with the page language marked for screen readers.

How we test

  • axe-core automated checks for WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rules on key pages, as each demo persona, at phone and desktop widths, in English and Spanish, in light and dark themes.
  • Keyboard-only runs through the main tasks: signing up, registering two children and checking out, booking a facility, a front-desk sale and taking attendance.
  • Reflow checks at 200% and 400% zoom.

Known limits

  • Automated tools find only part of the possible barriers.
  • Screen-reader testing so far has been limited; we have not completed full runs with every major screen reader.
  • The QR camera scanner needs a camera; typing the code always works instead.
